Seeking an experienced contractors accountacy and umbrella Business Development Manager to build new territory for fast growing FCSA accredited contractor accountancy firm. £40,000 basic + uncapped commisison.

The company has grown from strength to strength with continued expansion. This is an opportunity for someone to use their industry experience to step up and build something new, ultimately expanding the role into management in the long term as the territory continues to expand.

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will be;

  • Targeting the recruitment industry, developing new relationships to gain contractor referrals
  • Growing a new territory with he aim of building a larger field based team, setting procedures and strategies
  • Selling mostly Umbrella and CIS with some Ltd and other services
  • Proactively nurturing relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Providing a first-class level of account management in line with the brand
  • Booking and attending meetings to win new clients



The successful Business Development Manager (BDM) will have;

  • New business sales experience in umbrella or contractor accountancy services is essential
  • Thorough understanding of IR35
  • Experienced presenting to decision makers in a face to face role
  • Proven track record maximising on sales potential and closing leads
  • Be able to demonstrate your successes with payslips, leader boards or commission sheet
  • Confident communicators who thrive in social settings and someone who will enjoy entertaining clients

  • Basic Salary circa £40,000
  • OTE £55,000+ uncapped
