We are seeking a Head of Sales for market leading marketing company based in stylish offices in Manchester City Centre. Working Monday to Friday office hours with some travel required for client visits and London office meetings. On target earning reaching £130,000.

As a Head of Sales you will;

  • Manage a business development team of 6, mostly internal, visiting clients as required
  • Inspire and drive growth for new business
  • Manage a substantial portfolio of existing business and driving account development
  • Create and monitor corporate strategies
  • Present quarterly and annual results to the board
  • Set targets and KPIs
  • Drive, encourage, coach and performance manage the business development team
  • Keep up to date with industry and competitor knowledge
  • Speak at conferences and networking events, promoting the company services

To be successful as a Head of Sales

  • We are interested in seeing candidates with good experience managing an internal team as a sales manager, senior manager or head of.
  • Experience of marketing agencies working in them or dealing with them is ideal
  • Formal sales training is desirable
  • Proven success increasing team performance in new business
  • Experience implement strategies and presenting at board level


  • Basic salary up to £65,000
  • Double OTE resulting in circa £130,000
