We are recruiting for a Learning Systems Administrator (Cornerstones) to join a market leading Healthcare Provider based in Widnes. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning organisation with a fantastic salary of £30,000, you will be home based with occasional travel to the office.


You will be working from home acting as the internal consultant to the Talent Development and Learning teams, and makes recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience.


Duties for role:

  • Providing day-to-day technical and operational support for LMS and associated learning systems
  • Acting as first-line customer support for end-users
  • Serves as point of contact, and partners with LMS and associated learning software/content vendors to manage the day-to-day administration of all the system needs
  • Dealing with content updates, systems updates/releases, user management, and bugs/enhancements
  • Design, configures, tests, implements, and maintains learning resources and reporting functionality within the LMS (Cornerstones)
  • Acting as an internal consultant by analysing data, identifying opportunities, and recommending solutions that optimize LMS and associated systems to deliver performance that addresses the user experience and organizational objectives
  • Provides ongoing training and support resources for stakeholders/end-users to maximize effective use of the LMS
  • Researches LMS trends and professional awareness of learning systems strategies through ongoing education, networking, and affiliation with professional organizations to recommend solutions and perspectives that support business priorities
  • Ad-hoc administrative and system support for Talent, Performance, & projects as needed
  • Generating reporting to provide visibility to adoption, completion status, and effectiveness of training solutions delivered via the LMS
  • Analysing data and recommends direction and/or solutions
  • Building knowledge of the LMS and all updates to ensure full utilization of all components that enhance the delivery of learning and development throughout the organization


Skills for the role:

  • 1-2 years of experience supporting an LMS (Cornerstone) - essential
  • Experience working in the Healthcare sector would be a huge advantage
  • Familiarity with course design and development, learning paths, curriculum development and web design a plus
  • Experience partnering with internal strategic partners and external vendors to enhance the L&D experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
