£20000 - £23000 per annum + £35k OTE

We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join a market leading provider of IT solutions. You will be part of a team contacting businesses and offer a consultative service, gaining information about the business, building relationships and generating opportunities. Successful candidates will start on a basic salary upto £23,000 with a first year expected OTE of £30,000 increasing to £35,000 - £40,000 in year two.

As a Sales Consultant you will

  • Identifying new business opportunities through a variety of sources
  • Following up inbound enquires, leads obtained from events, web enquires and referrals
  • Consulting with decision makers of businesses advising on a targeted, client specific approach
  • Building strong business relationships with regular contact
  • Booking appointments for field based teams for demonstrations and closing deals.

To be successful as a Sales Consultant

  • We are interested in seeing candidates with experience in a consultative role working to and exceeding targets
  • You will currently be working as a sales executive, consultant or advisor, business development executive or consultant, client relationship manager, account manager, business development manager or in any telephone or field based targeted role
  • The drive, ambition and determination to build a pipeline in a professional sales role
  • A proven track record in achieving or exceeding targets

Package and Benefits

  • Basic Salary £19000 - £23000
  • Uncapped commission circa £30,000 year 1, increasing to £35,000-£40,000 in year two.
