A leading manufacturer of Industrial Refrigeration equipment is searching for an experienced Sales Manager to develop business at the specification/end-user level. Covering a national territory, you will secure high-value contracts with key clients, nurturing the process from start to finish. Sales Manager Role Specification:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with high-value clients, progressing the sales process from start to finish
  • Proactively generate leads to ensure a healthy pipeline is maintained
  • Carry out a full consultation with potential clients, ensuring requirements are properly assessed before submitting a quotation
  • Negotiate sales and overcome objections to close business with key decision makers
  • Identify reasons for non-conversion and revisit these prospects wherever possible
  • Attend sales meetings when necessary and produce regular reports of financial performance and forecasts

Sales Manager Package:

  • £40,000-£45,000 basic salary

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Existing experience in a similar Business Development position
  • Knowledge of the HVAC & Chiller/Refrigeration industry would be ideal but not essential
  • A consultative sales approach with excellent negotiation skills
  • Qualified to Degree or BTEC mechanical engineering level (or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to new business
